I'm Favio

Favio’s more than 25-year creative career has spanned two countries, Argentina and the United States.
A native of Argentina, he began his creative career as Copywriter
at the prestigious Ogilvy & Mather in Buenos Aires.
In 1990, Favio moved to the United States and became Associate Creative Director at Casanova/Mc Cann in California.
He would later return to Argentina and further his creative skills
at a renowned local agency, Soares Gache Publicidad (now JWT).
Favio moved back to the United States in 1998 and rejoined Casanova/Mc Cann as Creative Director.
In 2001, he partnered with John Gallegos to start Grupo Gallegos, the agency that in just a few years would become the standard
bearer of creativity in the US Hispanic Market.
In 2013 he joined Wing/Grey NY as CCO to start a new adventure
in Don Draper’s land.
After three great years in New York, he is back in Los Angeles.
Favio’s bi-national career has allowed him to hone a unique, creative mind and develop award-winning campaigns for clients like P&G, Comcast, Energizer, Target, CMPB (Got milk?), Scotts, Fruit of the Loom, Fox Sports, and Red Cross of America, among others.
His work in the United States has won him recognition at D&AD, Cannes Lions, Clio, Effie, Webby, New York Festival, London International Festival, National Addys, FIAP, El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamérica and Ad Age Hispanic Awards (three times Best of Show).
In 2002, Favio was elected president of the Creative Circle for the Hispanic Market in the U.S. In 2003, 2006, 2007, and 2009 El Ojo de Iberoamérica elected him Best Creative Director of the US Hispanic Market. And in 2005 he was elected Creative Director of the Year at the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies Annual Conference.
Favio lives in Culver City, CA, with his wife Paula and his daughter Catalina. He is an ardent fan of the Argentine soccer team Racing Club de Avellaneda.
